How Business is done

Something I came across that was inspirational and i thought i might share with everyone, credits to the url below at the end of the post where i got the content.

Father: I want you to marry a girl of my choice

Son: “I will choose my own bride!”
Father: “But the girl is Bill Gates’s daughter.”
Son: “Well, in that case…ok”

Next Father approaches Bill Gates.
Father: “I have a husband for your daughter.”
Bill Gates: “But my daughter is too young to marry!”
Father: “But this young man is a vice-president of the World Bank.”
Bill Gates: “Ah, in that case…ok”

Finally Father goes to see the president of the World Bank.
Father: “I have a young man to be recommended as a vice-president.”
President: “But I already have more vice- presidents than I need!”
Father: “But this young man is Bill Gates’s son-in-law.”
President: “Ah, in that case…ok”

This is how business is done!!
Moral: Even If you have nothing, You can get Anything. But your attitude should be positive

lol made me laugh a bit but it confirms something about business which I’ve learnt by experience: hold your cards very close to your chest and, ‘fake it till you make it’. What other people think of you or what you have or can do is entirely up to you!

Very true. Image is everything but boosted even further with a bit of confidence. And like what mosethepitt says “Fake it till you make it”. Its a funny story of passing the message though…lol

Supposing they meet? Bill Gates, the WB president and the lucky guy? That would be interesting…
But the point remains. Confidence… and fake it till you make it!
